The ages-old Moncarlino property, long treasured by Paolo and his family, is found nestled in the pristine woods of Monferrato. It is in this exquisite residence that the Moncarlino beauty tradition began. During one stay at the property, Paolo had the incredible good fortune to stumble across his great-grandmother Isabella’s diary in an old travel case. She was known for keeping detailed notes about the peculiarities of her time. Her thoughts, written in a delicate and beautiful script, dated from the end of the 1800s. Among other notations, Isabella kept a record of her daily beauty rituals, which she prepared herself from a mix of precious oils, spring water, grape juice, fresh plants and herbs--the abundant harvest of the parks and woods surrounding Moncarlino.
